Application Support Consultant, 1st Line Support Analyst - Accounting or ERP Software

Applications Support Consultant with accounting or ERP software experience, salary to £36k negotiable plus 5 weeks' holiday, company benefits and cross training. They appreciate the need to balance life and work, and you can work from home occasionally. This role is mainly office based and is based near Fleet in Hampshire, working for a mid-sized successful and independent software reseller.

This is a new 1st Line Application Support role for someone with some experience of supporting standard accounting or ERP software packages such as Dynamics GP, Sage 50, Pegasus Opera, Iris Exchequer, Sage 200, Sage Line 500, Dynamics NAV, Access Accounts, UNIT4, Access Dimensions, SunSystems, PS Financials, Oracle eFinancials, Kerridge, Pinewood, JDE, Agresso, SAP Business One, Coda, COA or similar application software.

You will be part of a busy, friendly 1st and 2nd Line Support / Helpdesk team solving clients' problems by telephone, email and remote connection. Currently they have 7 people in the Application Support group, plus Implementation Consultants, Software Trainers, Project Managers and back office staff.

Candidates will have worked in a similar Accounting or ERP Support role answering queries efficiently with regards to accounting software packages, and escalating to the software vendor where required, or you may have been supporting accounting software within an end user internal role. It is essential that you have an excellent telephone manner, attention to detail, good organisational skills, excellent customer service skills, and some knowledge of accounting, ERP and / or finance software. You will get full cross training to their accounting software solutions which are both cloud based and on premise.
