- This is an opportunity for a software developer, who understands ERP solutions and likes solving problems, to learn the Sage ERP X3 product and also the X3 software development environment. You will be joining a team of 3 Support Consultants and 4 ERP Developers. Your role will be to listen to the difficult issues that the client is having and figure out how to resolve them, often doing development work yourself to create the functionality needed. You will learn about the common tools, and get involved in some Data Migration, Work flows and Application Support on the side. Salary range from £35-40k depending on your level of experience, plus bonus. The primary requirements for this job: *Enthusiasm *An enquiring mind *Some experience of ERP software development *Any language - VB.Net, C#, ASP.Net, Java, MySQL, 4GL, Python *ERP software support This is a role for someone who enjoys getting their hands dirty with the code, who wants to look at the software, and who can get stuck into data migration. You will be joining a team of ERP consultants and developers and you will focus on the issues that require someone to look at code, write new bits of code and understand how delicately you have to work with a highly sophisticated ERP solution, because one change can cascade into many other changes. You will have a background of software development for an ERP solution and will be happy to talk to clients on the phone to establish what the support issue really is and how you can help. Crucially you will get full training in the leading Sage ERP X3 solution which will give you a very good career path into client facing consultancy or full X3 software development with really good salaries. They are looking for an inquisitive, problem solving, articulate person with some software development skills, with an ERP product such as Infor M3, SunSystems, QAD, Coda, NetSuite, Sage 1000 or Sage L500, MS Dynamics AX, Solarsoft, Tropos, Sage ERP X3, Oracle, JDE, Epicor, UNIT4 Agresso, Access Dimensions, IFS, Exact, or Baan. If you have some ERP software development experience and can talk to clients on the phone and work out solutions to their problems, this could be a great opportunity for you to learn the Sage ERP X3 product working for a leading reseller of ERP solutions. You will be office based so need to be in reasonable commuting distance of the Farnham, Fleet, Aldershot area.
