ERP and Finance Implementation Consultant

ERP Implementation Consultant with Finance or Accounting Software Implementation Consultant - Farnborough offices - to £50k + car allowance. Cross train to Sage X3.

This is one of the longest established Sage X3 consulting companies in the UK; they have a track record of delivering great X3 projects and retaining their clients. They are recognised as a quality player in the Sage X3 space and the support team of 10 people, in a company of 40 staff is indicative of the quality of company they are.

Experienced people tend to stay because the team that supports them is so strong, the years of Sage X3 consulting experience in the development, support and consulting teams is remarkable, and means that as a consultant here, you will never be thrown in at the deep end, in fact projects are well sold and the project plan is normally pretty accurate.

ERP Consultants work in teams of 1 or 2 along with a project manager and a lead developer. So the project responsibility is a shared task and a team effort. Projects vary from 50 days to 500 days

Vertical markets that they cover include food & beverage and pharmaceutical through to service industries and wholesale / distribution.

The job is for an experienced ERP Implementation Consultant with strong finance project experience, or an Accounting Software Implementation Consultant to cross train onto Sage X3. You will need to live with 90 minutes of their office near Farnborough as you will need to get to know the project managers, the other consultants, the support analysts and the developers. You will be in the office a lot at the start, probably 3 or 4 days each whilst you learn their software, then as you spent more time on site it will drop down to a day or two in the office each week.

Every Sage X3 project they have done has involved the finance module, so as a Finance ERP Consultant you will work with the client to really understand what they need and ensure the accounting module is well set up from the start. You will understand multi-currency, multi-company accounts and be happy talking about complex accounting issues.

You should be able to present at board level and be comfortable training people at all levels. You have solid business process experience and functional consulting skills through the full software implementation life cycle.
