An Epicor ERP Support Consultant is needed for a new role with a manufacturing company based in West Bromwich. They have 3 companies in their group currently going through an Epicor implementation via a reseller, and this role is to work on ERP application support of Epicor 10.2. Starting salary to £35k.
They initially have 3 companies with about 60 users then once the full production module (with shop floor data collection) is live, there will be an additional 20 users. Then there are 2 more group companies who will eventually also implement Epicor, so there will be plenty to do. So, this is a full-time permanent job working on the initial Epicor go-live, then enhancements, and then subsequent new projects.
Experience of Epicor doing application support or consulting & implementation would be ideal. An understanding of the finance, distribution and / or manufacturing aspects of the Epicor ERP solution, would be excellent for this position.
This is a hands-on job, rolling your sleeves up and talking to the users, looking at the screens they have and coming up with better layouts as well as working on dashboards to help the users get the full benefit of a modern ERP software system. They are looking for a motivated self-starter who wants to get involved with the product and provide a high level of service to the users, and advice and solutions to their problems.
You will have good problem-solving and communication skills, the ability to answer calls in a timely and professional manner, identify system improvements and understand what the users want. They are at the user testing stage, so joining now you will be involved in the very best bits of the ERP project.
Of course, they will continue to use the consultants from their reseller and will continue to have strong support from them available for you, whenever you need it.
