- Description
ERP Software Sales Executive for a thriving ERP solutions house near Stockport. This is an office-based role. They like you working as part of a team, sharing the successes and sharing the set backs as well. If you are seeing a client who is the other direction from the office, then you don't need to be in, but most days you would be based from there. Starting salary to £55k with a £5k car allowance and commission scheme that pays up to 15%, plus bonuses, OTE £110k+. The sales people are earning close to £125k generating nearly £1 million in GP.
You will have new business sales experience and will have sold ERP software (or very similar) into the SME market, this could be anything from SAP Business One, Sage 200, Dynamics NAV, Exchequer, Epicor, Infor M3, de Facto, Priam, Dynamics AX, Sage X3, Exact, Greentree etc. to Coda, Yardi, Tramps, Kerridge K8, Pinewood, Protean, COINS, Sage 300, Qube or others.
ABOUT YOU
You will need to be a new business salesman, able to handle the full sales life cycle, happy to work hard, and do the leg work to do the deals.
You will need to be happy conducting meetings with MD's and FD's and other directors and talking about their pains, their processes and really relating to the client needs. You will need to be able to think on your feet, and of course you need to know when to close the deals.
You must be able to do some lead generation yourself; whilst you will get leads, you need to be open minded about picking the phone up yourself, creating email campaigns and generating some opportunities for yourself.
They have a very solid lead generation process that delivers ago 150 leads per year. Each new business sales person gets about 40 leads and with the traditional lose one, defer one, win one.
You will be expected to do 12 deals a year at an average margin of about £40k to make around £500k. First year target is £350k. If you do that you will earn over £100k. So, this is very achievable, very realistic, it just takes hard work. You will probably end up with one £100k deal each year and then have done £500k deals.
