Description

We are looking for a motivated, energetic Software Trainer who has knowledge of ERP solutions, or similar application software such as Dealer Management, WMS software, Construction software, Retail software Property Management software, Merchant's software, Legal software or Accounting software. The role is based in Belfast and out on client sites and is paying up to £28k plus £4700 car allowance.

This consultancy needs an ERP Software Trainer to work with the 3 Senior ERP Consultants helping out and giving training on client sites and from the head office and through webinars. Plus assisting with go-live support working with the Consultants on client site, helping the customer through the first few manic days of switch over when they implement the software. You should be able to demonstrate previous experience of training clients, customers and internal staff and developing your own training materials and documentation.

Your experience: you will need a background of training in application software (not Microsoft Office etc, but business application software). So products like Sage or MS Dynamics or any accounting package or ERP or WMS software, or retail software, construction software, legal software, property management software, dealer management, legal software, field service software, merchants software etc. You need to be happy to travel across Ireland and you need to be happy to take on personal responsibility for all the training material and processes.

You will work with the training manuals and the software documentation and play a key role in the development of the training material. You will also get involved in testing and QA, working with the developers making sure the software is fully functioning.

The solution is never bespoke, so as a Software Trainer you will get to know the functionality of the entire ERP solution. It is highly configurable, so each client has the same system, but with different functions and modules switched on or off.

The job is to deliver the training courses depending on what module the customer is using; these cover many areas and modules of the software including full financials & accounting, SOP, POP, rebates, returns, retro discounts, eCommerce & integrated web functionality, mobile CRM, proof of delivery, van sales system and it is also strong on warehousing (WMS). So you will have a lot to get your teeth into and it will be an interesting and varied training role.

Our client is a very well-regarded business software consultancy who develop their own integrated ERP solution which they sell very successfully to the distribution sector. This ERP package is a complete integrated business solution which is sold to food and drink wholesalers & distributors. A typical deal is £100k so 50 users with software and service, and a large deal would be £350k. Some of the clients have a turnover of £350 million, so this is a nice big system that competes with MS Dynamics NAV, Epicor, Dynamics AX, Infor, SAP Business One etc.

This is a superb company to work for with an energising MD, and a talented team of ERP Software Consultants, Project Managers and Support staff. You will be recognised and rewarded for your initiative and input and will develop your career as the company expands.
