Description

ERP Software Sales role, new business, office based near Cheadle, Wilmslow and Stockport; you would be joining a thriving ERP Consultancy that has seen sexcellent growth over the past few years and now has around 100 staff. They work with two key ERP solutions for SME's and need an experienced new business sales person to join their sales team. Salary to £55k basic, plus £5k car allowance and an OTE of £110-120k with a bonus system I place. Many of their sales people are earning £125k plus.

This is an office-based role. They like sales people to be in the office working as part of a team, sharing the successes and sharing the set backs as well. If you are seeing a client who is the other direction from them, then you don't need to go in, but most days you would be in the office, so your location in key.

They have a very solid lead generation process that delivers around 150 decent leads per year. Each new business sales person gets about 40 leads and with the typical scenario of lose one, defer one and win one.

You will be expected to do 12 deals a year at an average margin of about £40K to make around £500K. First year target is £350K. If you do that you will earn over £100K. So, this is very achievable, and very realistic, it just takes hard work and tenacity.

You will probably end up with one £100K deal each year and then have done £500K deals.

About you

You will need to be a new business ERP Software Sales Executive or BDM, keen to work hard, and do all the leg work that leads to doing the deals.

You will need to be happy conducting meetings with MD's and FD's and other directors and talking about their pains, their processes and really relating to the clients' needs. You will need to be able to think on your feet, and of course you need to know when to close the deal.

You must be happy to do some lead generation yourself; whilst you will get leads, you need to be open minded about picking the phone up yourself, creating email campaigns and generating some opportunities for yourself.
