Description

We are seeking a talented ERP Consultant with manufacturing, supply chain or distribution experience to move to a superb ERP software reseller, in a home-based and on client site, implementation and consulting role. Many of their current and future projects are focused on manufacturing and distribution, so expertise in these sectors is highly preferable. Starting salary to £52k + car allowance. Nottingham is just a guideline, you can be based anywhere in the UK as the role is work from home, with travel to client sites.

You need strong functional skills and should be capable of taking on the business process requirements, interpreting the clients' needs, workshops, documentation, configuration to fit, ERP software implementation, data migration, user training and post go-live hand holding. You have good communication skills; you understand your clients' business needs and can translate these into software requirements.

You will need to spend the first month getting to grips with Epicor which is their robust and flexible ERP offering. Epicor is very strong as a manufacturing solution, especially in the manufacturing make to order market. Competing software products would be ECi M1, Dynamics NAV, Infor Visual and Infor Syteline, Access Supply Chain, Priority ERP, Efacs, Orderwise, IFS, Sanderson Unity, EVO-ERP, Dynamics AX, BatchMaster, Sage X3, JDE Manufacturing, SAP Business One for Manufacturing etc., so experience with any of these, or similar solutions, would be good.

Typically, projects are around 80-200 users and can involve multiple sites and multi-currency implementation; they have some ERP clients with up to 500 users. Their current team is made up of 7 ERP Consultants (plus Project Managers, Pre-Sales Consultants, Support Analysts and Developers) and it is steadily growing. The projects will cover manufacturing and distribution and 2019 has been very busy so far, with some large and complex manufacturing projects.

They focus on client satisfaction and have built a strong loyal base of customers, over the last 15 years. They are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated ERP Consultant who has good knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain or distribution, is well organised and motivated in a home-based position and can develop strong relationships with their clients.

There is a good work ethic here, people are professional, they have a lot of talent and they are committed to providing the clients with top notch service and robust software implementations that will provide ROI for their businesses.

You can live anywhere, from Nottingham, to Leeds, Manchester, Worcester, Swindon, Peterborough, London, Guildford, Bristol, Reading, Winchester, Watford, Ipswich or anywhere else in England or Wales, if you are happy travelling to client sites. Career prospects are excellent, and the management team are a joy to work with.
