ERP & Finance Implementation Consultant

An ERP Consultant is sought with strong knowledge of accounting & finance, who can take ownership of the complete Dynamics NAV implementation life cycle - to £60k + car allowance and extensive benefits.

The job is to work with Dynamics NAV doing the finance module implementations, for a NAV reseller who work primarily with the food & drink manufacturing and distribution industries. The role is suitable for someone who has strong finance software implementation experience coupled with either MS Dynamics NAV experience or food & beverages project experience. So they will cross train an Accounting Software Consultant with good food experience or they will train a MS Dynamics NAV Consultant in the food & drink specifics. But accounting & finance is essential either way.

This is a work from home or office-based ERP consulting role but ideally you will live somewhere in the Home Counties, London, East Anglia or Midlands area. They work solely with NAV and offer project management, implementation, customisation, development and support services to their client base. The food & drink manufacturing and distribution industries are a large part of their key business, so if you have any experience in these fields, it would be a real bonus.

They are looking for an additional ERP & Finance Consultant capable of confidently leading engagements with their customers. You have good accounting knowledge and can talk coherently to everyone involved in the accounting aspects of client companies, from FD and CFO, to the accounts payable people, then translate their requirements into the finance aspects of Dynamics NAV. You can agree the finance set up with the FD or CFO and are competent at setting up Chart of Accounts.

You will work with clients to establish scope, vision, objectives and benefits for new projects, run workshops to establish "to be" processes and gap/fit, implement Dynamics NAV, prepare and present training sessions for the users and provide consulting assistance through all aspects of the Dynamics NAV implementation life cycle.

You need at least 3 years ERP implementation and consulting experience with strong application knowledge in the finance & accounting modules, and a consulting background. You have previously implemented entire accounts solutions into medium to large companies and you are a confident communicator with great client rapport and evidence of leadership potential.

Skills Profile:

• 3+ years' experience with ERP/Finance solutions or Microsoft Dynamics NAV across the full implementation life cycle
• Strong on the accounting & finance aspects
• If you don't have NAV, then you need experience of the food side
• Functional consulting skills, good understanding of business concepts
• Structured expertise such as Prince 2, PMP, MS Sure Step or similar
• Happy to travel up to 50% of the time in Europe as well as the UK
• Able to work independently and enjoy being client facing
• On site and classroom training, report writing, documentation
• Food & drink, manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain would be a bonus
• Good problem solver, honest, ethical, self-motivated
