They are leaders in the design, make and distribution of large scale scientific and industrial products, they have a 50 year track record of excellence in their field, and 4 global offices. Salary to £30k.
You will need to be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of ERP support with the ability to analyse users' requirements, solve support issues and coach and train people in the new ERP software. They are in the process of replacing their legacy ERP systems with Infor CloudSuite at the moment and ideally would like someone who has worked with CloudSuite or Infor Syteline or similar.
Part of your role will be to talk to users and find out their requirements so that you can extend the functionality of the CloudSuite product to bring more value to the company and improve efficiency. Other duties will be 1st and 2nd line ERP and PLM support to the users at all levels from factory floor, the technical department and accounts, up to the board room, researching problems, coming up with solutions, testing and modifying them and doing the documentation.
This is a scientific environment and you must be educated to degree level in a scientific, industrial, manufacturing or computer-oriented discipline. Their products operate in the diagnostics, scientific research and analysis fields and you will need a leaning towards this if you are to understand the business processes here and the user requirements.
Ideally you will have supported ERP software in a manufacturing environment and some knowledge of Windows Server and / or SQL Server and / or MS SQL would be very useful. A general understanding of the technical aspects would be a bonus, such as networks, infrastructure, and mobiles, but the real key is the ERP software side. Strong ability to analyse data and come up with solutions is essential.
