Job Ref 1992092_1568901814
Description

This is a good role for a bright IT Support Analyst or Technical Support or Project Support person who has some understanding of iOS - iPad and iPhone technology, Windows support, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook etc) and is keen to move into a role where you can progress and learn in a high-tech environment. Based near Romsey, starting salary to £28k with a six-month review.

The job will be very varied and will include application support of Windows, iPads, iPhones, supply chain applications and eCommerce applications, software testing, technical support, project coordination, client training, and report writing, and will eventually develop into a full-blown software implementation and project management role. You will shadow a Consultant and learn the ropes on the job, and they are looking for someone who has a passion for technology and understanding how software and tech works and how it integrates.

This is a well-established company with around 35 staff, who supply a comprehensive suite of current software products and website development that enable B2B and B2C eCommerce companies to sell and manage their merchandising and retail activities via iPads and web browsers.

Initially you will start off in support. The support aspects could be a quick fix or helping clients with a 5 minute query, to complex problems that require detailed investigation, so you will have a love of problem solving, and an independent mind that enjoys challenges and you are someone who is happy looking at issues yourself and coming up with solutions. From support, you will move testing and training and then on to full life cycle software implementation and project management.

You may come from an implementation background, technical support or project management - but essentially you need to have a love of IT and technology and at least a year's experience in some sort of software projects role. Their solutions are based on building B2B eCommerce websites for their clients and implementing complex catalogues onto iPads, to enable the client and customer to process better orders.

If you are bright, have bags of enthusiasm, a love of modern technology and a desire to grow a career in software support, implementation and project management, this could be for you. The prospects are to move into a role as a client-facing project manager, or as a high-level technical consultant assisting with implementations and providing 2nd and 3rd line support. Both options are available.

You will also be a good team player who is able to coordinate effectively with the product development teams, sales office, and front-line support team.
