- Description
This is a fixed term 12 month contract (extendable) for an ERP Business Analyst or ERP Implementation Consultant to look at business processes and system processes, gather requirements, document stories, and supervise the implementation of a new ERP system by their solution partner across 8 offices. They will pay up to £65k for an experienced ERP analyst and implementer, plus car allowance, private healthcare, life assurance, perks scheme, discounted products, gym and even a beer fridge!
They want someone local to Marlow as most of your time will be spent there at head office, but there will be some travel to their other 7 offices. They are based 5 minutes from the centre of Marlow with all its lovely shops and restaurants, and river views. It is a relaxed multi-cultural and diverse environment, jeans and a shirt work well here, but everyone plays their part and works hard as a team.
You will be an experienced ERP Business Analyst who has worked with solutions such as NetSuite, Greentree, Dynamics NAV, Access Accounts, Sage 200, PS Financials, JDE, Coda, Dynamics AX, OpenAccounts, Sage X3, SAP Business One, Dynamics GP, Epicor, Infor, SunSystems, SAP Business ByDesign, eFinancials or similar.
You need strong business analysis and business process skills, you understand requirements, you can talk to people at all levels, both technical and non-technical, and write user stories, documenting the processes and needs, working through all stages of an end to end ERP software implementation and leading functional and non-functional workstreams. You will liaise with all the divisions of the company from finance to sales & marketing to the IT team, to discover their needs and will work alongside other analysts, system architects and the ERP reseller to ensure smooth delivery of the ERP solution across all sites.
They are implementing NetSuite as their cloud ERP solution across all their offices and the system will be finance centric covering general ledger, purchase ledger, order to cash, purchase to pay and invoicing, amongst other things. So you need to have solid knowledge of the accounting areas of ERP and a strong understanding of the finance aspects - an accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA or AAT or QBE would be very desirable. Project Management skills and structured methods would also be useful, and you need superb written and spoken communication skills.
This is a £billion+ multi award winning technology group with over 1,500 employees - still growing and listed on the stock exchange. Customers are wide ranging through commercial, financial, public sector and government bodies. They are a huge success story and this new internal ERP implementation is crucial to their future growth and development.
