Implementation Consultant, Professional Services Consultant

Client facing role for a Software Implementation Consultant or Professional Services Consultant, to work with construction & accounting software solutions - you can be home based, but ideally you will live somewhere from the West Country to the Midlands to London - such as Cheltenham, Oxford, Bristol, London, Worcester, Reading, o Coventry and will be happy travelling to client sites around that area and further. Salary ton £42k plus car allowance.

This role would suit someone who is a Software Implementation Consultant working with accounting, construction or property management software for a reseller or vendor, or someone who has implemented software internally at a construction, architectural or property company or is a high-level super user of construction software and has good finance expertise and / or an accounting background. Salary to £42k + car allowance + bonus and private health.

They are very flexible as to what type of candidate they would consider but it would be fantastic if you have implemented construction / house building software solutions such as Evolution, COINS, EasyBuild, CIS, Sage Construct, BuilderStorm, Archdesk, Kotrack or similar. Otherwise any accounting software implementation would be great, such as Sage 200, Deltek, PS Financials, Dynamics NAV, Access Accounts, Maconomy, Open Accounts, Coda Dream, SunSystems, BrightPearl, Agresso, NetSuite, FinancialForce, or Property software such as Yardi, Landmark 4, MRI, Qube or Atrium that has an accounting element.

Your role would be to work as a Functional Implementation Consultant on project sizes from 10 - 500 days. You will look at your clients' business processes and gather their requirements, analyse gap/fit, document your processes, configure the construction & accounting software to fit, and guide your clients through the software implementation process from data migration to user training to go-live.

You will develop functional specifications based on their business requirements, coordinate with all the stakeholders, maintain client confidence and deliver software implementations within scheduled timeframes. You have integrity, strong communication skills and are accustomed to meeting tight deadlines and using your initiative.

The company is very successful in their niche market within construction software and their software solution is SQL Server based and available on premise or in the cloud. They have over 100 staff and 2000+ clients. There will be plenty of variety as you will work across several modules, including estimating, maintenance, finance, construction, land appraisal, service management, house building, design, job status, BI, mobile apps, and HR.

An accounting background or qualification would be useful. You are energetic and enthusiastic, and strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work confidently in a client facing environment are essential.
