- A Technical Support Consultant / 2nd Line Support Analyst with good SQL Server skills and knowledge of ERP and / or Accounting Software is sought for this leading ERP and CRM consultancy based in the South. They are close to the M3 and commutable from Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire and South West London. They are a Sage Partner, and have been top of their game for over 25 years. You will look after external client support requests in a customer facing capacity. Salary is negotiable up to around £36k with good benefits and a super team of people to work with. You will also have the chance to learn a lot of new products and add-ons. They are looking for someone who understands the technical support aspects of ERP solutions as well as SQL Server & Windows Server and can give 2nd Line Support for SQL databases, administration and maintenance, ERP patches and service packs, SQL Server and Windows Server support. They are proud of their track record of achieving over 90% of support queries to SLA's, so they want someone who is passionate about providing great service to their customers. As a 2nd Line Support Analyst / Technical Support Specialist here you need: *SQL Server 2005 / 2008 / 2012 *Windows Server 2008 / 2012 and client operating systems *IIS *ERP technical support *ERP systems management and project control *Software & server diagnostic skills *Upgrades and patches *Any experience of Sage ERP 1000 or Sage Line 500 would be a bonus *Basic knowledge of networking useful *You work well in a busy team, often under pressure *Excellent communication skills, self-motivated with initiative *Enthusiastic, energetic with plenty of initiative You will provide all aspects of Sage 1000 and Sage Line 500 (plus add-ons) technical support and 2nd line support and assist in the verification of software releases, with the occasional visit to customer sites where required to resolve technical issues. You will communicate with your clients by phone and on-line to help them work through technical issues they encounter, building long term relationships and delivering first rate customer service.
