Description

We are looking for an Account Manager with a track record of looking after customers within the software sector or within the education / schools area. Our client sells a superb full MIS software solution into (mainly) private schools. So your role will be to engage with and talk to existing clients and school bursars, and conduct meetings with them (either on-line video calls or face to face), to ensure that they are getting the best out of the software, and to offer them additional products and services, such as upgrades to the system, new modules, additional licenses, and software support. Base salary to £30k plus £10k+ commission and car allowance.

You will be joining a small team alongside two other account managers, and the role is home based anywhere in the UK. However you will need to go into the office once or twice a month. Leicester is just a pinpoint, not where they are located, but they are in central England, so proximity to the Midlands could be relevant.

They are looking for someone who has managed client accounts within the software sector, or possibly an account manager who has worked with schools and the education sector, understands basic accounting and can talk professionally to school bursars and school managers.

You are enthusiastic, well presented, and very personable, able to engage with people in a friendly manner and build long term relationships and loyalty. You can present confidently and coherently, have a keen interest in technology, and are a stickler for keeping good documentation and accurate records and reports. You come up with new ways to increase user adoption and sales, and enjoy sharing your knowledge and ideas with the team.

Ideally you are degree educated, with bags of initiative, excellent customer service skills and lots of attention to detail. You focus on keeping your clients satisfied, and communicate regularly with them, identifying new sales opportunities and driving adoption of the full suite of modules within the software. You thrive on success!

To find out more contact Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing. A full driving license is essential.
