Description

Application Support Analyst or 1st Line Support Consultant to work for a forward thinking and innovative software consulting firm and join their busy support desk giving 1st and 2nd line support to their customers.

You need to have some proven experience supporting ERP or accounting software solutions or something very similar like dealer management, HR & payroll, time & attendance, construction software or anything with a finance and accounting element to it. Starting salary to £26k plus benefits and cross training to their software brands.

Our client has had 20 successful years implementing and supporting business software solutions and has built a loyal client base. Business is booming and they are looking for an additional 1st and 2nd Line Support Consultant with previous experience of supporting financial accounting software, ERP software or IT Support skills with an accounting background (or accounting qualifications).

This is an award winning consultancy who offer a lively and challenging environment with great emphasis on your training and development so that you make the most of your potential. The management team are great guys, very approachable and still actively involved in the business on a day to day basis.

You will provide 1st and 2nd line support for accounting and ERP software systems to small and medium sized businesses in a help desk environment. You should have a background in Sofwtare Support with good working knowledge of accounting principles from a relevant qualification or from supporting the accounting modules of software.

Typically, you will have knowledge of software products such as Iris Exchequer, Sage 200, e5, NAV, SAP Business One, e-Financials, Sage 50, Pegasus Opera, COA, Agresso, Coda Dream, SunSystems, Kerridge, Pinewood, Xero or any other similar accounting software package. You need good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows desktop with really good communication and interpersonal skills.

You will be a positive and enthusiastic person, results oriented and customer focused. You build rapport easily with your clients and maintain good relationships with them. You will get excellent product training and mentoring and a super team to work with. Progression is into implementation, consulting and client training.
