Description

This is a software implementation role for an enthusiastic, ambitious junior ERP consultant looking for a step up. The solution allows buyers and merchandisers to automate lots of their purchasing, demand planning, supply chain and stock forecasting, so that it links with ERP and finance solutions. Demand planning and inventory optimisation software, increases companies working capital by up to 40%, allowing fewer stock-outs, and lowering inventory levels to give confidence that they're carrying the right stock at the right time. You would be working with easy adoption, cloud based software solutions. Starting salary to £35k + car allowance, flexible working from home, and the office near Bromsgrove, and out on client sites.

You will get full training on their cloud product, and have a chance to work on some huge integration projects with other experienced software consultants, and see supply chain software integration at its most challenging. You will also get to work on smaller projects of 30-50 days where you can lead the whole implementation, once you are up and running.

So why is this an amazing job? You get full product training, it's an exciting industry, with huge growth, you will work on a variety of projects (small and large), they offer a huge amount of mentoring, training and coaching and you'll work in a dynamic, positive, challenging environment, with some great people. The MD and the management team are confident, optimistic and professional people and this is a very positive environment. The product is superb, and their consulting team is top notch.

You will have the opportunity to give your input into team projects on a regular basis. You can suggest things and will then have a chance to see your ideas come to fruition. There is scope to really push yourself and improve your consulting experience very quickly. You will get involved with the complete software life cycle, from scoping and requirements, to design, integration, software testing, implementation, and client training.

The right fit for this role, would be someone who is competitive, extrovert, ambitious and loves a challenge. Ideally you will be a graduate, or at the very least, have good higher education achievements. This is a job for someone who doesn't like to be told "it can't be done", someone who is happy to figure out different bits of technology and also ready to ask, when they get stuck. You also need to be outgoing, happy talking to stakeholders at all levels from shop floor to the board of directors, empathising with their problems, and understanding their pain points.

It would suit someone who has been doing implementation for a software company or reseller and loves the role, the client contact and the variety, but is limited by a small product, or someone who has been part of an internal software implementation at an end user, involving supply chain, merchandising, warehousing, demand planning, stock & inventory management, or mid-market ERP or DMS software, and wants to move into software consultancy. It is essential that you have good analytical skills as being able to understand a set of data and its implications, are a necessity.

So you may be familiar with Llamasoft, Reflex Planning, Sofco, NetSuite, Anaplan, SAP Business ByDesign, Prima, FuturMaster, Sage 200, Relex, Priam, Epicor, John Galt, Winman, Intact IQ, Netstock, Infor, Pinewood, Barloworld, Kerridge, SAP Business One, Eazystock, Phocas, and Acumatica or similar. Anything to do with inventory, retail planning, manufacturing, supply chain, forecasting, warehousing, demand planning or ERP.

If you want to know more and think you fit the bill, contact Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing.
