This is an excellent role with a leading software solutions company located in Poole in Dorset. Fantastic state of the art offices, leading mid range ERP software solutions for SME's sold in the cloud and on premise, great team spirit and flexible working environment.
They are looking for an Application Support Consultant or Support Analyst or First Line Support specialist, with previous experience working with ERP software, accounting software, finance solutions, MRP or DMS software or any similar application software. This role is within a professional, busy team providing excellent service to their UK client base. Salary from £26 - 30k and discounts on products and shopping, and 5 weeks holiday.
With a history going back over 20 years, this ERP business software reseller, has grown year on year and now has over 100 staff spread over 3 UK offices. Their Poole office is very impressive, and the largest of their 3 buildings. They will cross train you to their ERP and accounting software solutions - but you MUST have previous experience of supporting accounting, ERP, DMS or finance software. They are not looking for an IT technician, but someone with good application software support in their field. SQL, SQL Server and / or Crystal Reports expertise would be warmly welcomed.
The role:
- Key point of contact for 1st Line Support to a large client base, remote, online, email and phone
- Managing expectations, keeping clients informed of progress and tracking their calls through to closure.
- Triaging calls, assessing level of urgency, identifying the correct resolution
- Assisting with investigating root cause and identifying system improvements
- Working closely with their ERP partners to manage application errors
- Taking ownership of ERP application support calls and escalating where necessary
You are someone who is passionate about providing an excellent service to your clients, articulate, good at queue management, documentation and keeping the records up to date, a problem solver with attention to detail, and someone who is patient with your clients.
Your application support skills will have been gained with products such as Epicor, Intact IQ, Sage 200, Access Dimensions, Dynamics NAV, Exchequer, Coda, SAP Business ByDesign, NetSuite, Pinewood, SAP Business One, Dynamics GP, Infor, Kerridge K8, Movex, Pinewood, Greentree, COA, Pegasus Opera, Exact, IFS, Sage 1000 or anything similar.
