This role is for a UK Software Sales Manager or Sales Executive with experience selling mid-range ERP software solutions. You can be based anywhere the UK (Manchester has no relevance), it is a fully remote role, with travel to client sites all over the UK when allowed. The job is with an award winning provider of cloud and on premise ERP software aimed at the SME market, who have been growing year on year. Salary to £70k with an OTE of £110k plus.
They have fantastic customer references. Markets are predominantly manufacturing, warehouse management, supply chain, logistics, distribution, e-commerce, make-to-order and engineer-to-order. They have a dedicated pre-sales team to assist you and a strong marketing group who will provide leads, and the delivery team is superb (if you sell it they will deliver it professionally). There is strong demand at the moment for mid-range, robust ERP solutions in their markets.
The top end deals here are at around £1 million, bread and butter sales come in at £150k -200k. The company has a challenger sales approach which involves heavy qualification and understanding the clients' buying process. This approach has allowed them to dramatically increase their hit rate and focus on the real potential within the pipeline. Plus extensive "sales planning" makes a difference. The ERP software they work with is state of the art, build on a Microsoft full stack platform, with a terrific integration toolset. It can be highly configured and customised, or it can be used straight out of the box.
You are a professional, consultative, new business Sales Executive or Sales Manager who has sold ERP solutions such as Dynamics NAV, Sage X3 or Sage 200, PS Financials, Infor LM, Sap Business One, Epicor, Dynamics AX, Syspro, SAP Business ByDesign, Greentree, Exchequer, Coda, JDE, SunSystems, NetSuite, Dynamics GP etc.
This is a full new business software sales role so you would need to have been involved in (and happy to continue) the entire process from lead generation and email campaigns to create initial interest, through qualification, identifying critical business needs, qualified meetings, documentation, quotations & proposals, software demos, and controlling and closing opportunities. You concentrate on sales strategies, strong qualification and value propositions.
This job would suit an experienced ERP software sales professional who has a track record of deals that combine solutions, consultancy, training, services, and software licenses. It would suit someone who is happy to learn a process, be open minded about clear pipeline management and prepared to put the "personality sell" under the spotlight, to improve their sales focus.
