- Description
Superb role for an Implementation Consultant with strong finance / accounting software experience, to cross train to FinancialForce, the Salesforce finance solution. Home based anywhere in the UK - salary to £45k + £15k bonus + car allowance …. All their Finance Implementation Consultants are earning the £15k bonus, so there is no reason why you shouldn't too! Coventry bears no relevance to where you live, that can be anywhere in the United Kingdom.
The job is working for a well-established software consulting firm with over 15 years SalesForce consulting; they have about 25 staff and everyone is home based, people live across the UK from Ireland, to Shropshire, Birmingham, Cambridge, to Watford, London, Poole and many other areas.
For clients who want an accounting & finance solution, they sell FinancialForce which is the SalesForce finance solution, originally based on CODA and since redeveloped as a very strong accounting solution sold globally to compete with the largest finance solutions like Sage X3, JDE, SunSystems, SAP, Dynamics NAV etc., it is a robust cloud-based solution and it sells incredibly well. FinancialForce as a company, employs over 700 staff.
They need someone who has implemented accounting & finance software, (such as Sage 200, Coda, BrightPearl, PS Financials, OpenAccounts, SunSystems, SAP Business One, Dynamics NAV or GP, NetSuite, Sage Intacct etc.), understands charts of accounts, knows how to talk coherently to accounting departments, from CFO's to accounts clerks, and is client facing. Any additional pre-sales experience would be useful, and an accounting qualification or degree would also be a bonus.
Training on FinancialForce can be done through the SalesForce platform, and it is all free, you can become an administrator in 40 hours of self-learning and develop a strong skillset totally independently through self-study.
This is a job to implement the accounting software so you will have a strong finance implementation background and will have worked on projects for companies with a turnover of between £5m and £250m and be used to dealing with an accounts team of 2 to 20 staff. You are great on requirements, develop strong relationships with stakeholders, and have a passion for cloud solutions.
You will visit your clients for the kick-off meeting and for training (when allowed again), but beyond that most of your work will be done from home as FinancialForce is a true cloud solution. So realistically 2-3 days a month on site is probably about it. Obviously you might need to spend a lot more time on site sometimes as this is the nature of being an Implementation Consultant, but most of the work is done from home.
Why is this an awesome role?
- FinancialForce is a superb piece of software
- It sits on SalesForce which is a stunning platform
- The training here is great
- The projects are all a decent size, so you can get stuck in
- Super people with a genuine "home working culture" where they encourage teamwork and team spirit - even from a remote workplace - and this was their ethos long before the pandemic
FinancialForce is a skill that is in massive demand globally, and because you can work remotely as it is a cloud solution, the salary rates are excellent, so it's a great addition to your CV.
There is a £15,000 bonus based on your chargeability. Currently all their Implementation Consultants get this bonus in full. So you should too! The last Consultant we placed here, has done incredibly well and is a superstar member of the company.
If you could be their next superstar on accounting software implementations, get in touch with Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing.
