Superb role for someone with a track record of understanding a company's business vision, taking it through complex technological challenges and designing innovative solutions using ERP technology and applications. Our client is looking for someone who is passionate about Pre-Sales and architecting and creating a solution that works. So you will probably a technologically curious, ambitious and driven Pre-Sales Consultant who loves software, and are creating ERP solutions in your current job. The job is remote based anywhere in the UK, with a starting salary up to £80k plus bonus, £7k car allowance, private family healthcare and life insurance.
This key position is with an outstanding global software vendor (2000+ employees in over 40 worldwide countries), who are creators of a large scale ERP solution mainly for distribution and manufacturing, which has over 30 modules, one of which is Customer Engagement. It is this area that you will be concentrating on. The Customer Engagement solution combines lots of elements of technology and software, and is often integrated to other products such as CRM or Field Service solutions.
So you will need to map out the project solution, explain it to the client in layman's terms, ensure the sales people have the scope to deliver it and help the consulting team through the process. It's a challenging role using a variety of skills, knowledge and experience covering business processes, software, and technology, liaison with the consultants and managing customer expectation and the implementation people.
CE (Customer Engagement) software manages client interaction through touch points and a wide range of channels. These include API's, web chat, notes, customer self-service portals, diallers, calendars, social media, CRM, databases etc. Customers who are loyal are worth 10 times more than the first sale you make to them, and when they have a better engagement experience, they are likely to stay loyal and provide increased long term revenue. It's a constantly developing area of software which brings huge benefits to businesses.
You will take their clients through all the way through the sales process to final software delivery so the job is a combination of pre-sales, technical consulting and solutions architecture, which requires a mix of technical and business skills.
Who they are looking for:
- A successful track record as a Pre-Sales Consultant (ERP, CE or CX software)
- Experience of contact centre, customer engagement, or customer experience software would be a big plus
- Background in software implementation, preferably ERP (at least 4 years)
- Worked with a sales team to build solid software solutions and proposals
- You can discuss and demonstrate the value and business benefits from a technical solution and translate these requirements into cost efficient solutions
- Able to navigate through complex technology challenges and design innovative solutions
- You create value propositions based on the software solutions and explain the business value to your clients
- You understand prospect business pains and how the software's functionality addresses these
- The ability to analyse and design business processes
- Delivery of Proof of Concepts to the client
- An understanding of data relationships and database concepts
- An innovative thinker, ideas person and problem solver
- Great presentation and documentation skills, and strong leadership
- Happy to travel nationwide to client sites
- High level of education (Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred)
