- Description
This innovative, fast moving ERP software company, supply market leading ERP and Logistics solutions into a niche market very successfully. Based in Halesowen, they are expecting a mix of working from home and at the office, probably 3 days in the office one week and 2 days the next.
They are looking for an Application Support Analyst / ERP Support Consultant, someone with ERP type application support experience and knowledge of the accounts and finance side. They have a reputation for keeping clients over long periods of time. They are a solid, straight reliable software consultancy, clients trust them to deliver up to date ERP solutions that work, and without risk. They are a great bunch of people to work with and you will learn a lot here. A wide salary range is on offer from £23-33k depending on how much ERP or accounting software support experience you have and how much value you can bring early on.
So they need a good application support person, with anything from 12 months' experience, who can take and log customer calls and emails, really listen to the clients to understand their issues and solve their problems - SQL Server or SQL experience would be a massive advantage.
You will have supported ERP software such as Epicor, Sage 200, Coda Dream, Exchequer, NetSuite, Dynamics NAV, Infor, PS Financials, Sage 1000, SAP Business One, Dynamics AX, IFS, Deltek, Exact, Pinewood, Syspro, Access Accounts, QAD, Plex, NetSuite, Intact IQ, or Kerridge K8, Orderwise, Sage X3, Protean, Priority ERP, Sage 500 or anything similar.
This role is to join an established ERP support team of 4. You will work on existing clients dealing with support issues, but the really busy part is with new customers who are going live, however it is normal for a client to have a consultant on site for the go live week, so that acts as a buffer. They are very good at mentoring and coaching and it is all very relaxed and easy, this is a nice environment to learn more about ERP implementation and consultancy in-depth.
You will provide practical assistance and advice to clients and users and will be a great problem solver with a really good manner and sound interpersonal skills. You should be focused with a comprehensive understanding of dealing with a wide variety of application software support requests. SQL queries, SQL reporting and / or an understanding of SQL Server will put you ahead.
This would suit a bright enthusiastic individual who understands accounting and finance and is looking for a step up with good prospects. Application support of an ERP or accounting software solution, or any application with an accounting element, would be perfect.
This is a sensible environment with realistic activity levels, a good life balance and very low staff turnover. People really like working here. It's a nice working environment with good people, not too much pressure, and they will make sure you get the training to do your job well.
If you have the required background in ERP or accounting software support and would like to find out more about this role, then please contact Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing.
