Description

Busy Application Support role for a bright, enthusiastic Support Analyst or 1st Line Support Consultant, with some experience of supporting software applications such as accounting solutions, WMS, financial services software, ERP, legal accounting software, dealer management systems, property management software, automotive or builders merchants software or something similar. If you have some SQL skills too, they will snap you up. The job is with a mid-sized software reseller based between Solihull and Coventry. Salary to £25k with regular reviews; some flexibility for home working, but you will have to be in the office part of the time.

The role is to provide remote support via telephone and email to a really nice bunch of clients where you will to use your problem-solving skills to resolve their software problems, adhering to SLA's, documenting your cases and keeping your clients up to date with progress. The solution is built on .Net, SQL Server and has many modules such as accounts, parts & spares, job costing, invoicing, e-commerce, marketing and CRM, so there is plenty to learn and keep you interested, and you will also get involved in some client training. So no day will ever be the same.

You are hopefully inquisitive, enthusiastic, passionate about software, keen to give your client the best customer experience, and eager to learn more about databases and SQL. You have application support skills with solutions such as Intact IQ, Pinewood, Xero, Rimilia, Sage 200, SAP Business One, Orderwise, QuickBooks, Kerridge, Dynamics NAV, Epicor, Access Dimensions, Coda, Exchequer, Greentree, Pegasus Opera, Exact, Red Prairie, Infor M3, SunSystems etc. or any similar application software like legal software, financial services, insurance, construction software etc. SQL or SQL Server would be a bonus.

People love working here because of the approachable management, the brilliant software solution that the company sells and the upbeat, vibrant team spirit. Everyone puts the customer first and strives to be the best that they can, and everyone works together for the growth and development of the business.

The business implements and supports a fully integrated, flexible software solution that covers ERP, WMS, manufacturing, e-commerce, accounting and order processing. It is sold into niche markets and is an incredibly successful product, and the clients love it. It is built on a SQL Server back end and with pretty, easy to use Windows interfaces.

If you have some application software support skills and would love to work on an interesting business solution, with a motivated and happy team of people who enjoy their environment - and learn SQL & SQL Server too, then this could be the job for you.
