Description

This role is for a New Business ERP Sales Executive to join a very successful IFS ERP reseller and channel partner, selling the best of breed IFS solution on premise and in the cloud, to mid-market clients. £45-60k with a double OTE and car allowance. The job is fully based from home, so you can live anywhere in the UK from Manchester to Edinburgh to Southampton. There will be travel to client sites where you feel it's necessary, and an office day once a month or so.

They currently have more than 50 existing IFS customers who they account manage, service and support. They are very focused on new business sales of the IFS ERP solution, and they are targeting specialist manufacturing markets.

The reason for this is that the IFS solution has stunning functionality in process manufacturing, and it is hugely scalable, so any expanding manufacturing company can get started on the IFS journey and then stick with the solution forever.

The author and vendor IFS, have a large sales and consulting team but they target deals of around £1 million+, this channel partner compliments them by focusing on the smaller SME sector with deals of around £250k.

This role is generating new business and working with:

  • The telesales team (external)
  • Great marketing team
  • Leads you get from IFS themselves

To be successful here you will have a track record of closing large ERP deals, ideally to manufacturing companies. You will be familiar with the deal lifecycle of 3-12 months and have the mental fortitude to get through that long process. You will be very happy selling software, upgrades, services, consulting and add on services to clients. You are ambitious, keen, success driven and a consultative software sales individual.

Building a relationship with IFS UK is critical and part of your job will be nurturing relationships, and discussing campaigns with IFS.

The role is home based with occasion travel to the office, and of course as much travel to see clients as you think is needed.

You will work with the CEO; he is an incredibly bright guy, highly entrepreneurial and switched on, and with the Head of Sales who has a good grasp of the IFS ERP solution and the ecosystem.
