- Description
New Business Software Sales Executive wanted, who has sold field service solutions or ERP software with a field service module, to establish and develop new clients and generate and close new business deals. You will have sold a software solution that covers things like job management & costing, scheduling & routing, parts planning, bookings management, asset maintenance, recurring invoicing, inventory management, workforce reports, and logistics. Base to £50k, double OTE of £100k plus car allowance. The job is fully remote, based from home or you can work from their office in central England.
They need someone with a track record in application software sales; someone who is happy doing new business, from self-generating leads, to making the calls, getting the clients requirements and coming up with proposals and quotes that deliver to those needs, giving proof of concept demos, liaising with the marketing, consulting and development teams, building a pipeline of qualified new business opportunities and closing the sales.
This software company is a long established reseller of two versatile ERP products. The one you would be selling is an award winning fully integrated, powerful ERP solution that has a strong field service module. This module allows clients to give fantastic customer service, improve resource usage, drive better communication with field service engineers, streamline invoicing and drive profitability. The markets for this ERP solution are the field service & field support space, professional services, small charities, construction and wholesale customers.
The product is very functional and highly configurable, and for many businesses it is a single solution that doesn't need integration because the standard ERP functionality out of the box covers accounting & finance, HR & payroll, distribution, manufacturing, mobile, BOM, distribution, warehousing etc. Often it works out at half the cost of a rival such as SAP Business One or Dynamics 365 Business Central, because the integration and ongoing license is incredibly straight forward. It also has a really good user interface that people can just get on with. A typical deal is around £80k and it can be sold on premise or in the cloud.
