This is an office based sales role with very little travel as you will be demoing the software via WebEx. You need to be great at business development, finding your own qualified leads and getting past the gatekeepers and making your own demo appointments.
You will be selling a rapidly growing online Accounting, ERP and CRM software solution for SME's, as a cloud based product on a subscription model. It has great functionality covering finance, distribution, CRM, stock and inventory, and ePos and is the perfect product for small businesses in manufacturing, distribution, wholesale or accountancy. A competitive salary of up to £30k base is on offer with a very do-able OTE of around £45-50k, plus laptop and mobile.
You DO need previous experience selling some type of application software, ideally accounting or ERP solutions or something similar such as time & attendance software, property management software, dealer management or construction software, payroll software, e-commerce software, purchase-to-pay or anything else in this application software market. An understanding of software in the cloud, SaaS or experience selling cloud software products is highly desirable and will give you a lead position here.
You will be hungry for success and ambitious and will focus on new business and building solid relationships with your clients and expanding the software sales. You will use the phone and the web to prospect new customers, book appointments, deliver webinars and WebEx demos, and use your product knowledge to ascertain your clients' requirements and deliver solid sales discussions to ensure the product meets their needs. You will have good attention to detail and keep accurate information about your clients on the CRM database and keep it up-to-date.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must; you will be the sort of person who is motivated by your targets and KPI's and you have will have proved by your tenacity, persuasion and hard work, that you can hit your targets and close lots of deals! Word, Excel and CRM skills are essential. You will have a consultative sales approach with good listening skills and a professional and friendly manner and it goes without saying that you love winning!
You will be selling a fantastic cloud based ERP, accounting and CRM software solution that has grown rapidly to one of the top 5 solutions in Europe. There will be opportunities to attend seminars and trade shows, and you will get on-going product training to keep you up to date. As the sales team grows you will have the opportunity to manage the sales department, so there are real prospects here for someone who is bright and ambitious.
They are also looking for a Junior Sales person or Tele-Sales Exec who has some experience of selling cloud based software and can follow up on marketing leads, contact existing customers, keep the database updated, attend events and learn the ropes, working alongside the Sales Executive. This junior role would pay up to £20k with an OTE of around £25k, so if you are looking for a software sales role where you can learn and develop, this would suit.
