ERP Application Support

ERP Application Support Consultant required for a new role with a software reseller near the M25. Flexible working pattern, with 2 to 3 days a week at home or the office. You get to learn SQL Server (if you don't already know it) and SQL, and work with a dynamic, busy, friendly team of ERP Support Consultants and Technical Support people, with great prospects for moving into consultancy, software development, software implementation or training in the future. Salary from £28 - £38k with frequent salary reviews.

They are looking for a motivated Application Support Analyst, with great problem solving skills, who has a genuine interest in technology, IT and business, has supported application software, has excellent communication skills with people at all levels and gets on well with external clients.

You will take support requests by phone, email or web chat, log your calls, document the details, identify issues, track your cases, escalate problems to third line where necessary, keep your clients notified of progress with the problem, look for bugs, reproduce them, work closely with the development team to fix and test them, resolve data issues, and handle your cases through to completion. The software has great functionality and a lot of modules, so the support emails and calls are varied and interesting, and the team are upbeat and motivated - it's a good environment to work in.

You will have software application support experience within any application software sector, ideally ERP software such as Dynamics NAV, Sage X3 / Enterprise Management, Epicor, Sage 1000, Infor, Syteline, Dynamics AX etc. or accounting software such as Access Dimensions, Sage 200, SunSystems, Coda, Exchequer, Agresso, PS Financials etc. But it could be something similar such as construction software like COINS, or property management software like Propman or Yardi, or DMS software like Pinnacle or Dragon, or software for retail & fashion, CRM solutions, estate agency products, merchants' software like Kerridge or Intact, MRP or legal accounting software. If you also have some technical skills with SQL Server or any Servers or SQL database experience that would be a big bonus.
