ERP Support Consultant to be trained up as a Junior ERP Implementation Consultant

This is a unique role for an articulate and bright Application Support Consultant to train up into a full Software Implementation Consultant role, so this is a massive opportunity to grow and to develop your career. The starting salary is £22-28k but the main thing is the chance to learn and to increase your ERP skills. Then, as you become an experienced Implementation Consultant, you will be able to earn up to £42,000 through regular pay rises and appraisals.

The company is situated between Bath and Bristol (near Bath Spa University) so you will need to be able to drive and have your own transport to get there.

What you need is a background of Application Support of ERP or Accounting Solutions or very similar software applications such as property management, supply chain, time & attendance, construction software, legal accounting or similar. Plus, you will be the type of person that is happy to try different technologies and someone who enjoys solving technical problems and is happy to learn some skills about servers and networks and report writing and doesn't mind turning your hand to whatever needs doing. If you also have SQL Server skills, this would be highly regarded.

You will have the confidence to meet with clients and to progress into a role that will involve taking requirements, conducting workshops, software implementation and training. You will work in a small team and have the chance to get involved in:

It will include some Application Support, Technical Support, ERP Software Implementation, end user Training and Consultancy. Because their software product has many modules from handheld devices for van drivers, through stock control, distribution and warehouse management, to clever accounting and finance software, you will see lots of different aspects of the clients' systems which will keep you interested and give you variety.
