- Description
Superb roles for 2 Implementation Consultants to join a leading global ERP software company of over 4000 people, working on either the manufacturing side or the accounting module of their Tier One ERP solution. You will be used to working with large clients on 50-150 day implementation projects.
They need two additional ERP Consultants, and it's essential that one of you has manufacturing and the other has finance, plus you have experience in a client facing consulting job. Salary to £62k + 10% bonus + £6k car allowance, home based anywhere in the UK.
The company is a global leader in large scale ERP, Multi-currency accounting, Field Service Management, Asset Management and CRM Software. This is a brilliant opportunity to work for a world class software author in the ERP space, who are financially solid, continuing to expand at speed and who offer an accelerated career path for bright people.
Full life cycle functional consulting experience is required from requirements gathering, workshops, specification, design & configuration, testing, documentation, implementation, and post go-live hand holding and support. Experience with medium to large scale ERP solutions is essential, whether this is within a reseller, vendor or software house environment, or possibly at a large scale end user company.
You will also be expected to work with the Consulting Managers, to help develop strong implementation processes and enhanced training materials, and put forward your ideas. Plus, make suggestions to the Product Managers for software enhancements. You will be home based and can live anywhere from Northumberland to Newport, London to Bristol, to Southampton, Manchester, Exeter or the Midlands.
Reporting to the Consulting Manager, you will be working with a variety of large, prestigious customers, and will get involved with at least one other aspect of their ERP solution, aside from your manufacturing or accounting specialism. The projects are large enough to require more than one consultant at a time, so there is lots of collaboration and cooperation. Typically you will work on client sites a couple of days a week alongside other consultants, and operate from home on the other days. Their training programme is excellent and you will be eased into their consulting style, working with a mentor and shadowing another ERP Consultant.
This is a professional environment, so you will get lots of good training. In the past new Consultants who have cross trained from another solution, typically work alongside other people for 6 months, before running their own implementation projects, so you are not thrown in at the deep end. Staff retention is amazing - many of them have been with the company for over 10 years and 68% have been with them for at least 5 years, which is testament to their rewards, recognition, career development and training. The management are decent, knowledgeable and approachable people, the company is very well organised and they are busy with many project wins.
