This role is to provide on site software implementation of core property management solutions (commercial, residential, international, and affordable), with a strong focus on the investment portfolio management side - fund management, pricing, deal management, investment management, fund structures, multi-currency deals and complex financial functionality etc. The job is to work for a leading global property management software company, with offices around the world and deep industry experience. They will pay up to £95k, possibly more for the right candidate with the right depth of expertise.
They are looking for someone with in depth business knowledge of property management and property investment software solutions or real estate fund management, who has a client focused, consultative approach, and deep knowledge of the investment & fund management aspects of property & real estate.
You will have some software implementation experience in the property management software field. So you might already be working as an Implementation Consultant for a property software vendor or resller, or you may be in an internal role, and have worked on an in-house implementation of a property management solution. Or you might be working for a fund management or investment management company, or a fund administrator, and have been involved in a software implementation project for a property company.
Either way, you need a strong accounting and investment / fund management background, and you understand the implementation life cycle from functional business processes, gathering the requirements, talking to stakeholders, identifying business improvements, configuring the software, and implementing the solution, and have the knowledge to work with the complexities of the fund management, investment management and fund accounting aspects.
The role will be to implement property and investment management solutions at client sites in the UK and Europe, juggling many processes at once, dealing with people form the accounts office to board directors, covering things like real estate portfolio management & performance, deal flows, accounting, fund administration, fund structures, pricing, debt, fund performance, multi-currency and reporting within the property solution. You will also get involved in the pre-sales aspects, working with the sales team to demonstrate and present the software, and will be expected to attend trade exhibitions and be a face for the company.
You have experience negotiating with decision makers, the ability to explain technical jargon to non-technical people, you are articulate with first class communication skills and command of the English language (second European language very useful), you have the patience of a saint, a love of solving problems, and a strong interest in PropTech and Investment Management technology.
So, in terms of tech, you have property management software skills with solutions such as MRI Qube, Grosvenor Systems, Yardi Voyager, Manhattan Atrium, Horizon, Pex, RealPage, Re-Leased, Buildium or similar. Investment software you may know could be solutions such as eFront, Argus, Quva, Anaplan, Foundersuite, Talliance, Cougar, Coyote, Investran, Exirio, or Onestream.
You are well presented, professional, outgoing, analytical, and positive and you are not afraid of a challenge, and you are keen to work for a company with huge global presence, where careers are unlimited, and you will continue to learn and develop in the software space. Any added skills with SQL, SQL Server or Oracle would all be a bonus.
This is a company where people stay long term, so it is a career move for someone with drive and ambition. To know more, contact Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing.
