Key role for a Professional Services Consultant or Implementation Consultant with a leading property management software company - it would also suit an accountant working for a property management firm, who has done a full hands-on implementation of a property management software solution. Join this truly, brilliant software company, with multiple offices around the world and deep industry experience - they will pay up to £95k, plus big company benefits. You can work remotely, UK based.
This job is to provide on site software implementation of core property management solutions (commercial, residential, international, and affordable), with a strong focus on the investment portfolio management side. So this covers fund structures, pricing, debt, deal management, investment management, fund management, multi-currency, fund performance reporting, deals and complex financial functionality etc.
They are looking for someone with in depth business knowledge of property management and property investment software solutions or real estate fund management, who has a client focused, consultative approach, and deep knowledge of the investment, assets & fund management aspects of property & real estate. In terms of tech, you have property management software skills with solutions such as MRI Qube, Grosvenor Systems, Castleton, PropMan, Yardi Voyager, Manhattan Atrium, Horizon, Pex, RealPage, Re-Leased, Buildium or similar. Investment software you may know could be solutions such as eFront, Argus, Quva, Anaplan, Foundersuite, Talliance, Cougar, Coyote, Investran, Exirio, or Onestream.
Software implementation experience in the property management field is essential. You might already be working as an Implementation Consultant for a property software vendor or reseller, or you may be in an internal role, and have worked on an in-house implementation of a property management solution. Or you might be working for a fund management or investment management company, or a fund administrator, with heavy involvement in a software implementation project for a property company, or as an accountant in property.
Whichever, you need a strong accounting and investment / fund management background, and you understand the software implementation life cycle from functional business analysis, taking the requirements, talking to stakeholders, identifying business improvements, configuring the software, and implementing the solution, to go-live, and you have the knowledge to work with the complexities of the fund management, investment management and fund accounting aspects.
Implementing property and investment management solutions at client sites in the UK and Europe, you will be juggling many processes at once, dealing with people form the accounts office to board directors, and covering things like real estate portfolio management & performance, deal flows, accounting, fund administration, pricing, debt, fund performance, multi-currency and reporting within the property solution. You will also get involved in the pre-sale aspects, working with the sales team to demo and present the software, and will be expected to attend trade exhibitions and be a face for the company.
You have experience negotiating with decision makers, the ability to explain technical jargon to non-technical people, you are articulate with first class communication skills and command of the English language (second European language very useful). On top of that you have the patience of a saint, a love of solving problems, and a strong interest in PropTech and Investment Management.
